Our goal at Lobster Tales Catering Company is to create a unique experience and atmosphere that our clients and their guests will remember forever. By using the freshest ingredients available to us; hiring talented, caring, professional, and enthusiastic service personnel; and using indigenous, colorful and natural props to enhance the presentation, we will to create an unforgettable Vineyard dining experience. We welcome your ideas and share our experiences with you to create a very special event.
Lobster Tales Catering Company Resume:
After graduating from the Hotel & Restaurant Management program at the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire, Doug & Jackie Korell spent many years traveling and working at many top notch hotels, resorts, conference centers and restaurants throughout the United States, the Caribbean, South America, and the South Pacific collecting ideas and recipes from every new spot they visited.
"Our travels brought us to the island of Martha's Vineyard where we have lived since 1992. Lobster Tales Clambake Company began in 1995 when we realized that there was a need for an upscale traditional clambake company here on Martha's Vineyard. We learned the 'Sealed Package' clambake cooking method from a friend who brought the knowledge and steaming procedure with him from Maine. After a few seasons of just doing clambakes and having our clients continually asking us "if we do other types of cooking", we decided to expand our horizons and put our past experiences and love of cooking into action. Our many years of education and work experiences have prepared us to take on this new challenge."
